A local farmer opens his field in spring so that visitors can walk along the paths and view the colorful spring flowers. Photographers and artists are attracted by this and come every year when they hear the flowers are out. In South Africa in the Western Province these flowers open on sunny days between eleven in the morning and close at three in the afternoon so a visit must be well timed.
