The Excelsior vineyards' bright green leaves reflect the rays of the afternoon sun. The Langeberg range of mountains stand in the background and the sky is a hazy blue gray with occasional fluffy white clouds. Creamy white roses grow at the end of some of the vines and can predict any disease the vines may get before it ever takes root. The earth is a warm light red in hue. A good greeting card for a wine lover who has visited the Robertson region where this vineyard is located. The business is extremely productive so the owners the de Wet family can open the manor house as a guesthouse all year round and have built their own smaller houses on other parts of the estate.
