A bright red house catches the eye on the left of the scene. It is typical of the Muslim houses in this steep area of Cape Town. People are out for their morning shopping and walks while pigeons peck at scattered crumbs on the cobbled road. This is a bright and cheerful watercolour that translates beautifully into a print as well.
