A cityscape painted in Verona showing the Ponte Vittoria's wide span with two arches standing in the fast flowing Adige river. An early morning cerulean sky is reflected in the water. People are walking by the terracotta stone embankment. The bridge leads to the historical centre of Verona. In the mid-distance is the Renaissance church of San Giorgio beside which grow tall cypress trees. In the far distance are wooded hills over which creamy white clouds gather. Yellow stuccoed houses line the streets on either side of the rushing river. Their roofs have terracotta tiles which add a warm glow to the scene. A peaceful scene that would make an excellent giclee print. Search on FAA for reproductions that would make a suitable present for a special friend.
