A spring afternoon in a small seaside village in the western cape province of South Africa. People are strolling along the windswept beach lined with huge yellow ochre rocks made smooth by the pounding waves. A cluster of white cottages and houses in the mid-distance denote the village itself and in the distance the green wheat fields are sprouting.
