A pale early morning sky over the arid Namibian desert in winter highlights the twiggy low growing bushes and occasional larger green shrubs. Scattered rocks and dry yellow white grass cover the ground as far as you can see. A mountain slope nearby is still a cool deep blue with the sun behind it. Seen from the train on the way to Omaruru from Windhoek.
