A sunny morning with people in the street and parked cars along it. The jacarandas are in full bloom with their trademark carpet of fallen blossoms below them on the pavement and street. A man walks away from us probably towards the high street at the end of the street. The houses are painted, ochre, white, yellow and pink. Cool shadows fall on the bright tarmac. A cheerful scene and will make an attractive greeting card for a friend or citizen of the Overberg town.

Thank you Nora. The streets of Robertson are nearly all lined with jacarandas which flower in early summer and it was the first time I had been there when they were out.
