Two Herero women meet outside their village of Omaruru. Both are wearing traditional dress because their sons have recently married. It is spring and the grass is burnt dry and the thorn trees are bare of leaves. Birds fly above and in the mid-distance is a small mountain with slopes warmly lit by the morning sun.
