The Simonsberg mountain is seen in the distance towering over the surrounding farmland. Its slopes glow pink in the noon day sun and cool shadows are cast over the light red earth of the vineyards by trees on the left. Nearer to the viewer can be seen white arum lilies and yellow daisy bushes with a mauve flower. The grass is a fresh viridian being still springtime. Above in a blue sky huge clouds pass by. This painting was sold earlier this year.
