I have been painting since my mid twenties when I spent four years at the Heatherley School of Art in Pimlico in London, UK, studying under Helen Wilson, Carl Cheek and David Ufland. I have had many solo and mixed exhibitions since in Europe and the States and my pictures are in private collections internationally. I am a member of the South African Art Association and live in Cape Town, South Africa.
I emigrated to Cape Town in 1993 and have my studio in Kenilworth. The almost constant sun and beautiful South African landscapes are an artist's blessing. To see more of my original oils and watercolours look also on www.elinor.co.za.
On Thursday February 6th until Thursday 19th February I will be exhibiting daily my framed oils and mounted watercolours in the Sanlam Hall at Kirstenbosch, together with other members of the South African Society of Artists in our Merit Exhibition of 2015.
